Contractor Opportunities for Educators! The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) is partnering with three PA IU's to offer services for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) schools identified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). There are many roles needed across PA on the Regional Improvement Teams, including School Improvement Facilitators and Core Team Members. The IU Partnership Team is looking to fill these roles with experienced educators who are collaborative and passionate about working with districts and schools.
Hours: Flexible based on agreed upon deliverables.
Salary: Compensation based on the completion of deliverables for each phase of the school improvement cycle.
Education: Master's degree in education required, doctorate preferred. Certification: No certification required; valid driver's license required.
Other Qualifications: Minimum of five years experience serving in a school leadership position. Experience using school improvement and implementation strategies and facilitating teams. School Improvement Facilitators (SIFs) will engage school leaders and school-based teams in a continuous improvement process, including a facilitated self-assessment process, prioritizing strengths and needs, and conducting a root cause analysis. Using this information, the SIF will support the school-based teams in developing, implementing, and monitoring an improvement plan that is based on evidence-based practices. Core Team Members (CTMs) will use their in-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices related to their specific area of expertise to provide technical assistance to school leaders and school-based teams in support of the continuous improvement process.
