Notice is hereby given to all interested and qualified persons that the City of Latrobe is accepting resumes for the position of Director of Finance & Administration/City Secretary.
This position reports to City Council and the City Manager. This position is responsible for the management of clerical staff; processing of biweekly payroll, tax deposits and other related government filings; preparation and administration of the annual operating and capital budget; expense monitoring and analysis; financial and operational audit coordination and support; oversight and review of accounts payable and accounts receivable; staffing schedules; and creation of various reports. This position also supports City Council and is responsible for preparing for and managing the functions of all Council meetings; recording meeting minutes; and posting meeting notices and maintaining public records. Accounting and payroll experience is required.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred; however, relevant work experience will be considered.
