Kuhn's Market is a locally owned and operated supermarket chain, with 8 locations throughout the Pittsburgh area. We are currently seeking a Payroll/HR Clerk at our Corporate Office, located in Ross Township, PA. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee/assist in processing weekly payroll for 600+ employees using Paycom software.
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, and job title and department/division transfers.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Administer and oversee all aspects of employee benefits, including medical, dental, short-term disability, life and 401k.
- Work with employees to help resolve issues or concerns.
- Receive, update, log, file and follow-up with unemployment claims.
- Assist and provide staff with general human resources-related forms and other general requests.
- Assist with recruiting, training and onboarding.
- Respond to and/or complete employment verification requests.
- Maintain and update personnel files.
- Must be able to analyze information, data entry skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, thoroughness, general math skills, reporting skills, verbal communication, organization.
- Knowledge of Paycom software a plus!

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years payroll processing experience preferred
- 1+ years benefits administration experience preferred
