1st and 3rd Shifts Available! 

Schedule:

1st / Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm - $17/hr. 

3rd / Sunday-Thursday, 9:00pm-5:30pm - $18/hr.

Summary of Positions

Performs the unloading, loading, staging and prepping of merchandise on the floor and at elevated heights in compliance with product handling standards in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner. This position will also be required to cover as a delivery helper as needed.

 

Essential Duties

  1. Performs the unloading, loading, staging, and warehousing of merchandise, at floor and elevated height (33 feet), while maintaining an acceptable productivity goal.
  2. Inspect and evaluate staged product to determine needed cleaning and/or repair to product.
  3. Perform minor repairs, touch-ups, and cleaning (as needed) on casegoods and/or upholstery merchandise.
  4. Verifies purchase order, location numbers, case pack quantities, and other information prior to receiving, picking or loading merchandise.
  5. Practices safe and secure material handling methods and distributes merchandise properly in accordance with product handling standards.
  6. Verifies purchase order, location numbers, case pack quantities, and other information prior to receiving, picking or loading merchandise.
  7. Reports errors found on documents to supervisor.
  8. Completes all documentation neatly and accurately.
  9. Operates manual and mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  10. Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
  11. Utilizes Warehouse Management System.
  12. Follows all inventory control guidelines.
  13. Completes yearly scheduled safety and procedure training.
  14. Cover as a delivery or shuttle helper as needed.
  15. Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills.
  • Basic numerical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat and efficient manner. 
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management System.
  • Ability to work as a team or independently.
  • Ability to complete and pass Coaching the Forklift Operator and Battery Changing course.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous material handling experience preferred.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull and lift cartons weighing approximately 50 – 100+ lbs. repetitively.
