Deputy Director of Planning

The Municipality of Murrysville is seeking an experienced and visionary Deputy Director of Planning to join our team! This leadership role supports the Director of Planning in advancing strategic planning initiatives that foster our goals of a sustainable and vibrant community. In-depth knowledge of urban planning principles and zoning regulations is desired.

Responsibilities include managing planning projects, overseeing land development proposals, performing plan review, interpreting municipal ordinances, and supervising a team of dedicated staff.

Salary range of $66,000 to $89,100. Salary is in part dependent on experience. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in urban planning or a related field is recommended. AICP certification or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
