Part- Time Administrative Assistant
Administrative position serving a church in the community of Penn Township, Westmoreland County, supporting office needs and communications and working closely with, and primarily under the direction of, the pastor(s). Additional duties include assisting other paid and volunteer staff with administrative and communication matters.
Must work well and cooperatively with others, quickly grasp and follow directions, provide clear oral and written communications, exercise initiative in daily activities, pursue excellence in all work performed, and have a pleasant demeanor demonstrating self-control and propriety in all interactions representing church to congregants, visitors, and the public.
Must possess relevant administrative and communication skills, multi-year experience in Wordpress and marketing, and knowledge of all aspects of social media. Must be proficient with basic office support software, including word processing, spreadsheets, communication, and publishing. Must be willing to learn and effectively use church specific software, as required.
Must be a professing Christian who is, and remains, a member and regular attendee of a Bible believing evangelical church (BFOQ).
Must maintain all pertinent confidentiality as appropriate.
Criminal record and child abuse clearances, references from previous employers, and a pastoral reference will be required.
Part-time: 15-20 hours a week.
