Machinist

Here at our facility in Irwin, Pennsylvania we are an electronics manufacturing facility looking for Machinists on our first and second shift. In this position, you will: Perform progressive machining on parts, experimental and development work to close tolerances according to blueprints, sketches or verbal instructions. Program or adjust programs, set ups, inspect parts, and operates various types of machine tools. Perform necessary hand operations, such as filing, fitting, etc. May perform floor erecting or assembly operations.

 

We prefer to hire individuals with at least 1 year machinist level work experience or machinist technical education, including strong skills in shop math, measuring tools and blueprint reading as well as the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Additional paid classroom and on the job training will equip you with the tools you need to succeed at Parker.
