Police Officers

Springdale, Pennsylvania
Applications are available for Full Time Police Officer(s) Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4 pm at 325 School St, Springdale, PA 15144 photo ID required. Completed applications must be turned in to the Borough Office during normal business hours
by 4:00 pm on June 9th, 2023.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.
- Possess a high school diploma or a graduate equivalency diploma (GED).
- Be a United States citizen
- Be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a police officer.
- Possess a valid motor vehicle operators license and be eligible to legally operate a motor vehicle in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Be Pennsylvania Act 120 certified or have successfully completed training and passed or be able to pass the final Mpoetc Act 120 exam prior to employment.
- We offer a comprehensive benefits and compensation package as per the collective bargaining agreement.
A physical agility test as well as a written examination will be administered.
-Applicants will be notified of the date and time of testing.
A non-refundable application fee of $25.00 is due upon pickup of application in the form of a check, cash or money order.
