CRNP Nurse
Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner works under the supervision of the Medical Director and Staff Physician and works directly with clientele under State and Federal regulations for the delivery of medical services in and out-patient opioid treatment facility.
Duties and Responsibilities: |

· Seeks supervision and construction with supervisors daily. |
|
|
· Understands a variety of models and theories of addiction and medical problems related to substance abuse. |
|
|
· Performs annual physical examination of clients in treatment. |
|
|
· Screen clients to determine need for medical attention and referral. · Takes client medical and drug history. · Analyzes reports, results of test, and results of examination. · Records pertinent client data and prepares client summaries. · Advises patients concerning diet, hygiene and methods for prevention of disease. · Treats clients with dignity and respect. · Provide treatment services appropriate to personal and cultural identity of client. · Participates in case conferences and disposition conferences. · Maintains the confidentiality of client information in accordance with State and Federal Laws. · Conducts medical consultations with client and/or counselor and apprizes supervisor of the nature of the consult. · Collect specimens for blood and urine analyses. · Perform clinical procedures such as Venipuncture and, Electrocardiogram. · Knowledge of safety procedures. · Performs other assigned functions as needed for quality service and care. · Ensures that all work perform is co-signed by supervisor. |

· Adheres to dress code; appearance is neat and clean. |

· Completes annual education requirements. |
|
|
· Maintains regulatory requirements (license, registration). |
|
|
· Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time. |
|
|
· Wears identification while on duty. |
|
|
· Demonstrates self-assessment by separation of personal problems from the work environment. |
|
|
Language Skills: |
|
|
· Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, clients, public and other agencies.
|

|
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing |
|
|
· Basic computer knowledge. |
|
|
Requirements/Education: |
|
|
· Must be licensed in the State of Pennsylvania as a CRNP by the State Board of Medicine and three years experience in the medical field. |
|

|
|
|
Physical Demands: |
|
|
· Work environment of moderation in temperature and noise. |
|
|
· Ability to carry 15lbs. (files). |
|
|
· Ability to sit at desk for hours. |
|
|
· Close vision at computer. |
|
|
