What you will do:
The Commercialization Manager serves as the key conduit between strategic brand initiatives and the execution through the selling organization. The Commercialization Manager plays a critical role in the Tillamook Stage Gate process of launching new products or initiatives and driving commercialization and successful launch. Ultimately, this role is in service to the broader sales team goal of delivering sustainable, profitable growth for TCCA and our customers. This will be accomplished through exemplary personal time management, advanced project management skills and advanced financial acumen with solid knowledge and understanding of how their team’s work impacts key areas of the total organization’s P&L. The Commercialization Manager should demonstrate solid understanding of current systems and technologies as well as a strong willingness to adopt new technologies. The Commercialization Manager will exhibit a strong intellectual curiosity capable of operating with a Continuous Improvement mindset in all that they do to advance Sales Enablement Tools & Processes that enable the delivery of the Operating and Growth Plans for TCCA.
Here’s a day in the life:
- Lead the translation of the Operational Plan into actionable tactics that take into consideration the unique regional and customer dynamics that exist in the marketplace.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate within a cross functional team environment
- Ongoing responsibility for identifying opportunities and implementing improvement to ensure adequate evolution of the commercialization process
- Advocate and represent the customers’ point of view internally. Serve sales teams by securing internal alignment to efforts to win with customers and deliver brand strategies.
- Effective time management skills required to maintain multiple projects
- Maintain Industry leading Sales Enablement inclusive of Brand and Category Strategy commercialization and innovation Launch Excellence
- Demonstrate effective and influential oral and written communications skills
- Utilize MS Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field is required
- 5+ years of sales and broker management experience.
- Demonstrated experience calling on customers at their corporate or regional headquarters.
- Project Management experience and certification preferred.
