Erosion and Sedimentation Control Technician
The Washington County Conservation District is looking for candidates to immediately fill a full-time position as an Erosion and Sedimentation Control Technician. The position requires both office and fieldwork.
Education requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in science, geology, engineering, agricultural field or similar field of study.
The technician is responsible for providing technical assistance for the Erosion and Sedimentation Control Program, the Post Construction Stormwater Management Program, and the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Program. Must have own transportation to use on the job and be able to walk over rough terrain. Mileage is reimbursed. The position requires extensive fieldwork and engineering plan reviews. Must be able to pass the PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151), PA State Police Criminal Background Check, and FBI Fingerprinting immediately upon hiring and every 4 years.
Salary:
$30,000 - $34,000, commensurate with education and experience with full benefits package.
