Vice President/Administrative Services
Westmoreland County Community College is seeking a full-time Vice President/Administrative Services responsible for managing, supervising, planning and directing the operation and the personnel of Financial, Information Technology, Facilities, Security, College Services and Events areas of the college. Must demonstrate an ability to be entrepreneurial and help lead the development and implementation of innovative, college-wide strategies that generate new revenue sources, increase efficiencies and improve effectiveness while instilling a culture of customer service to the constituencies served.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in related field.
- CPA certification desired.
- Ten years’ experience of progressive management experience in senior-level financial positions.
- Must be results oriented with demonstrated effective leadership skills and a diversity of interests.
- Knowledge of technology and information systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-oriented skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact professionally and confidentially with the college community and the public.
- Ability to work well with the diverse needs of students, faculty, administrators, and community leaders.
- Excellent organizational skills that include the ability to prioritize multiple work duties.
- Excellent delegation skills needed in order to accomplish multiple tasks related to college goals.
- Proven ability to work independently, as well as possess excellent conceptual decision-making and judgment skills in order to be a part of an effective senior management team.
- Must have met or exceeded work performance standards in current and prior positions.
- Possess a participative leadership style.
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal Record Check Clearance and FBI Federal Criminal History Record Clearance at employee’s expense.
- Basic employment verification, national criminal database search and drug screen at college’s expense.
- Must possess the ability to perform the essential responsibilities/functions of this position.
- Knowledge of and experience in working with and supervising employees under labor contracts.
