We are now hiring for full-time and part-time positions. Part-time and PRN positions for a licensed Physical Therapist needed for 15-20 home health visits per week within Allegheny Kiski Valley area. This includes Lower Burrell, New Kensington, Leechburg, Vandergrift, Apollo, Brackenridge, Tarentum, Buffalo Township, West Deer , Springdale, Cheswick, Plum and surrounding communities. Can also provide orthopedic outpatient coverage if desired. Excellent per visit rate. Flexible scheduling. Great opportunity for young parent to work during weekday hours or supplement other income.
Full-time position for licensed physical therapist to work in 4 local school districts providing physical therapy to special needs students during the school year. Can also provide orthopedic outpatient coverage in summer months if desired. Essential Functions and Objectives:
The Physical Therapist provides motor assessment, remediation, restoration or compensation for decreased functional motor skills to students in order to maximize educational opportunities. Evaluates students, identifies and documents goals, and participates in Intervention or IEP meetings. Communicates, instructs, coordinates and collaborates with teachers, staff and parent(s) about student’s therapy plan and strategies. Modifies the educational environment and provides adaptive equipment so student can access the educational setting. Addresses motor skill areas such as, but not limited to, independent daily living skills, gross motor, functional mobility, fine motor and visual motor.
Must possess a current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License.
Experience working as a physical therapist with a pediatric population is preferred.
